Zoo Med ReptiSoil is a soil substrate for reptiles that is a blend of peat moss, soil, sand, and carbon. It can be used as a bedding or substrate for amphibians, tropical lizards, tarantulas, hermit crabs, insects, and other small animals. ReptiSoil is designed for tropical terrarium set-ups and is great for burrowing, egg-laying, and growing live vegetation. The added carbon helps aerate the soil and improves drainage. The coconut carbon in ReptiSoil provides a porous surface for beneficial bacteria to colonize and reduce persistent odors.
