Dinnerplate Dahlia's are ideal for cut flowers, borders, and containers. They tend to bloom for long periods and offer showy flowers. They do best in well drained, humus rich soils. For planting outside the Hardiness Zone it is imperative to dig up the tubers in the fall and keep them in a cool, dry place through the winter for the next year's use.
