Mammoth Russian Sunflower

This fast growing gigantic flower produces an immense golden blossom 8-14" across, that is filled with funflower seeds. These easy-to-grow plants thrive in poor soil with little moisture and make interesting temporary sreencs, backgrounds, and hedges. The large, tasty seeds attract wild birds and make valuable poutry food.

When and where to plant

Select sunny or lightly shaded location and plant outdoors, where plants are to remain, after all danger of frost is past. Cultivate soil and firm over seed, keeping it moist.

Care

Growth is maximized in good soil with moderate moisture. Tall plants may require staking.
