This ornament honors the classic book with the story told verbally and visually around the world for many generations known by a few names, "The Night Before Christmas" and "A Visit from St. Nicholas". The original book was written in the early 1800's. This ornament design includes a red hard-bound book with the white pages opened to the first pages of the story with "Twas the night before Christmas..." on one side and a decorated tree with gifts on the opposite page.
