Great system, could use a set of wheels

Earthbox is the gold standard of container gardening systems. Learned about them and other container gardens at a seminar at the local library. Waited to post this review until our stuff really started growing. We have had vegetables growing in containers before, but nothing as sophisticated as these boxes. Assembled correctly they're self watering and weed free. Comes with a false bottom (aeration screen), water filler tube, “mulch covers”, fertilizer & minerals. Some kind of wheel set or a caddy would be nice. Filled and planted it's tough to move this around.

Root crops in a box plus anything else

I wouldn't be without my Earthboxes; a "box" devotee for over 20 years; still have original rectangular rolling trellis pots; yes the trellis connectors get eventually sun damaged, but if you set up relationship with company representative, you will be informed of free shipping offers etc. Original casters operative and no chipping or cracking of plastic pot material. White will age to ivory over time, so a color is a good choice, helps warm the soil and easier to keep clean looking. I have good luck with plants that need consistent moisture as reservoir is easy & quick way to water. For me, they are foolproof and makes patio gardening easy from nearby chair.

Great for plants

Plants grow well in my Earthboxes whether mounded & covered (giving deeper root room) or not as long as well is watered. They endure the summer sun for years as well.

Great for a Small Space

I have been using Earthboxes for years and I love the gardening I have done with them. High production in small spaces that are easy to care for and flexible when changing crops as the growing season progresses. It is nice to have different design options to fit living spaces. I hope Earthbox comes up with other designs.
