Jonathan Green New American Lawn Deluxe Broadcast Rotary Spreader

I spent probably 2 to 3 months, looking at all spreaders that I could find that are in this tub barrel configuration Rotary spreader system. When it was all set and done the Jonathan Greene New American deluxe rotary spreader appeared to be the one that I was looking for and at the price seem to blow all the others away the spreader for all practical purposes other than the tires are only 1 inch shorter than the Earthway 2150 is identical in all aspects but the Jonathan Green holds 10 pounds more product ( 60 lbs ) and comes with a stout and durable cover that has a dual purpose of keeping the product in the barrel. If you were to have a mishap and keep water off the product it also includes a great at the top to clumps that could be pushed through that disperses it back into the granular product. The wheel assembly seems to be more rigid as it is attached with a bolt and a nylon nut. Unlike the 2150 which uses a pin, which seems to be a little cheap to me for the price being over $100 plus more than what this unit cost , the barrel delivery system that spreads and dictates how much product being delivered again is identical to the Earthway in every aspect plus cosmetically it blows it away the handle could be adjusted to the very tall to the very short it’s spread pattern is 10 foot and it rolls and operates like a champ if you’re looking for a spreader that performs as well if not better than Earthway Yard Star or Chapin this is the unit that you want you will not be disappointed by any means by doing my homework and comparing all of the spreaders I have found the cream of the crop for much less than the big name brands. I suggest you get one when you can because when word gets out , the price may go up. You just never know. Awesome job Jonathan Green. This is one hell of a spreader!

First of all, Esbenshades service was exceptional. Great updates on order status, shipping, etc., and the spreader arrived one day ahead of schedule. Excellent price on the spreader as well. The spreader is well built, and much easier to use than the Scott's spreader I replaced. The large tires make this much easier to push, especially on uneven ground. I'm very happy with this purchase.
