Apply the required amount of granules evenly on top of soil, being careful not to damage the upper roots, incorporate thoroughly into the topsoil layer (Wear gloves if done by hand), then water in thoroughly after incorporating into soil. For flower beds, sprinkle granules evenly over bed. For container plants, spread the required amount of product evenly over the potting soil around the base of plant foliage and water thoroughly. For the first 10 days DO NOT water the container to the point that water overflows or leaks out the bottom of container.
